Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Birmingham, AL. The Role: 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts in a Stepdown unit, travel employment with competitive pay and full benefits.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. NIHSS/PCCN preferred but not required; travel experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Prepare equipment and assist with cardiac procedures.
• Document patient assessments and nursing interventions.
• Provide patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe telemetry patients.
