Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Bowling Green, KY. The Stepdown RN will work 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, on a travel basis with benefits and support from Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing.

The role requires one year of Stepdown RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certs. PCCN and NIHSS are preferred. You’ll work with a dedicated clinical team to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification and NIHSS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Document nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
