Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Sylvania, OH. The travel RN will provide specialized care for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with a focus on telemetry and cardiac care.

Requirements include one year of Stepdown experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications may be considered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification (if available).
• NIHSS Certification (if available).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage telemetry patients and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer prescribed medications and interventions.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications.
• Document patient status and coordinate with the care team.
