Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Apache Junction, AZ. This Stepdown RN role offers 12-hour day shifts and 36 hours per week, with competitive pay and benefits.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and is ready to join a dedicated clinical team delivering high-quality cardiac care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Strong cardiac care knowledge and telemetry monitoring

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Administers medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Aids physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and patient assessments.
• Responds to life-threatening cardiac emergencies following protocols.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
