Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for PCU in Gilbert, AZ for a 13-week assignment. You will provide Stepdown care on a 12-hour night shift and work 36 hours per week.

Duties include monitoring telemetry, administering cardiac meds, and collaborating with the care team to plan patient care. Requirements include 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS; PCCN and NIHSS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document patient history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.
