Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Responsibilities
- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
- Prepares equipment and assists during cardiac-related procedures
- Maintains patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients
- Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients
- Initiates patient education plans focused on cardiac health and lifestyle changes
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care
- Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Performs other duties within the scope of practice
