Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel RN PCU (Progressive Care Unit) for a 13-week assignment in Rockford, IL. This role provides specialized care for patients transitioning from ICU, with 36 hours weekly on 12-hour night shifts.

Candidates must have one year Stepdown RN experience, current RN license, BLS and ACLS; PCCN preferred. Competitive pay, day-one benefits, and full travel support are offered by Fusion.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) and ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments, focusing on cardiac care.
• Assists with cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Documents patient status and responds to cardiac emergencies.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
