Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for the PCU - Progressive Care Unit in Lincoln, Nebraska. This assignment requires 48 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, starting 11/09/2026 for 13 weeks in a travel capacity.

The role focuses on stepping down care with emphasis on stroke patient management, telemetry, and critical condition monitoring, offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a similar unit.
• Active RN license and successful orientation exam with 90%+.

Responsibilities

• Care for stroke, CHF, PNA, sepsis, COPD, PE, and AKI patients.
• Manage titratable drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nicardipine, Dobutamine).
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and telemetry reading.
• Read strips, monitor telemetry, and respond to changes.
• Participate in self-scheduling and floating to other units as needed.
• Complete orientation over three shifts.
