Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing assignment in Lincoln, Nebraska. The position is 13 weeks, starting 11/09/2026, offering 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent acute care PCU/step-down experience. Travel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care Nurses (PCU) care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment, but who aren’t unstable enough to need ICU care.
• PCU nurses monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and detect any changes, enabling intervention of life‑threatening or emergency situations.
