Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for the Progressive Care Unit in Saint Joseph, Missouri. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with competitive compensation and full benefits.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. PCCN and NIHSS are preferred; other certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification.
• NIHSS Certification may be required or beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing protocols, focusing on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and telemetry monitoring.
• Document nursing assessments and patient responses; communicate with the team.
