Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel assignment in St. Charles, Missouri. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, coordinate with the team, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and support patient safety and education.

The role requires BLS and ACLS, current RN license, LTACH ICU experience, and at least two years of bedside nursing. Night shifts, 12 hours, 36 hours per week, with travel reimbursement and housing options provided.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Current state RN license.
• LTACH ICU bedside experience preferred.
• Minimum two years of bedside nursing experience.
• PCU experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop individualized care plans and participate in patient rehabilitation programs.
• Document all assessments, interventions and responses accurately.
• Initiate discharge planning from day of admission and educate patients.
• Communicate patient status changes to the care team.
