Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, VA. You will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, providing stepdown care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units.

The role requires one year of stepdown RN experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and a supportive clinical team are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors cardiac rhythms and telemetry data; responds to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a cardiac focus.
• Keeps patient records, notifies physicians of status and changes.
• Assists with procedures and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
