Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts in a busy stepdown setting.

The role requires one year of Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN/NIHSS certifications may be considered for additional responsibilities and earnings.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in the appropriate state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.
• Nursing skills focused on telemetry and cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments for cardiac patients.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Educate patients and document nursing assessments.
• Maintain safety and infection control during shifts.
