Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Olympia, WA. The role involves 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with a focus on Progressive Care Unit telemetry care and patient monitoring.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current RN license in good standing
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data and respond to abnormalities
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care
• Assist with cardiac-related procedures and examinations
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients
• Document nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients
• Initiate patient education focused on cardiac health and risk factors
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive telemetry care
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
