Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Jackson, TN. This role centers on telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, and coordinated team-based patient management on a 12-hour night shift.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN or similar telemetry-capable unit.
• Current RN license in good standing per state regulations.
• BLS certification maintained.
• ACLS certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document patient conditions and reactions; escalate to physician as needed.
• Respond to cardiac emergencies per hospital protocols.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry patient care.
