Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN for the PCU in Chattanooga, TN. This 13-week assignment is 36 hours per week on a night shift (12 hours).
You will care for stepdown telemetry patients, monitor cardiac status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Requirements include 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS.
Qualifications
- One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
- Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
- ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
Responsibilities
- Monitors cardiac rhythms and telemetry; reports abnormalities.
- Administers meds and treatments per nursing standards with cardiac focus.
- Aids physician during cardiac procedures and exams.
- Maintains telemetry patient comfort and safety.
- Documents assessments and patient status; notifies physician of changes.
- Responds to life-saving situations per cardiac protocols.
- Educates patients on cardiac health and risk factors.
- Collaborates with the care team for comprehensive telemetry care.
- Ensures confidentiality and follows safety protocols.
