Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Nashville, Tennessee. This role supports patients transitioning from acute care, offering diverse telemetry patient care and collaboration with a skilled clinical team.

You will work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including day-one coverage and licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, reporting abnormalities promptly.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with emphasis on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments, notifying physicians of status changes.
• Responds to life-threatening cardiac emergencies following protocols.
• Educates patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
