Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week travel assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts, starting 10/19/2026.

The RN will monitor telemetry, administer medications, collaborate with the care team and provide patient-centered stepdown care. Requires one year of stepdown experience, RN license, BLS and ACLS; PCCN/ NIHSS preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Prepares equipment and assists during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents patient status and notifies physician as needed.
• Responds to life-threatening cardiac emergencies following protocols.
• Conducts nursing assessments and updates medical history.
