ARMStaffing in Johnstown, PA is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week, night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, and a fast-paced cardiology telemetry environment.

The ideal candidate holds a PA RN license, BLS, at least 2 years in telemetry/PCU, and mandatory cardiac cath experience. You will monitor patients, administer meds, interpret telemetry, and educate families while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in telemetry/PCU.
• Cardiac cath experience is mandatory.
• Willingness to work nights, days and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient health status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpret results.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.
