Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a travel RN for a PCU assignment in Augusta, GA. The 12-week program offers a 36-hour week, nights, and a strong focus on telemetry care. You will monitor patients, administer cardiac meds, and support ICU-to-floor transitions.

The role requires one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS. PCCN and NIHSS are preferred. Enjoy company support and comprehensive benefits as you travel.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience or similar.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• PCCN and NIHSS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments focusing on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures/exams.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
