Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Cumming, GA. The nurse will monitor telemetry, administer cardiac-focused care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of stepdown experience, a valid Georgia RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Travelers enjoy competitive pay, benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification (optional).
• NIHSS Certification (optional).

Responsibilities

• Monitors cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments focusing on cardiac care.
• Performs and assists with cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains telemetry patient comfort and safety.
• Documents patient status and notifies team of changes.
• Responds to life-threatening cardiac emergencies per protocols.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
