American Traveler is seeking a Travel PCU/MedSurg Telemetry RN for a progressive care unit assignment in Bloomington, Indiana. The role requires an RN license in Indiana, 18 months PCU or similar acute care experience, and ACLS/BCLS certifications.

The position offers a 13-week contract with 48 hours weekly, night shifts, and travel benefits. Candidate must be comfortable caring for post-cardiac surgery and ventilated patients, with Cerner EMR experience and strong cardiovascular focus.

Qualifications

• Active IN RN license required by start.
• Minimum 18 months PCU or relevant acute care RN experience.
• Current ACLS and BCLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• Experience with dysrhythmias and Cerner EMR experience or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work in a mixed acuity PCU/MedSurg unit with a focus on cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients.
• Care for CV surgery, thoracic surgery, cardiology, endocrine, and oncology patients.
• May float within scope to meet hospital needs or at affiliate hospitals.
• Shifts are 12 hours, 3 or 4 shifts per week, including every other weekend on night shift.
