Job summary

Pulse Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN for the PCU in Bismarck, North Dakota. This 13-week assignment features 12-hour nights, 48 hours per week, and a rotating schedule in a 32-bed stepdown unit.

The RN will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer IV meds, and collaborate with the care team while floating to related units as needed. Requires active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 2 years' Med/Tele/PCU experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and 2+ years in Med/Tele/PCU.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with telemonitoring and cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a stepdown unit with care plans.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and read EKG strips.
• Titrate IV meds (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Lasix).
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with the team.
• Floating to PCU and medical-surgical units as needed.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing education.
