Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 16-week assignment in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on care for patients transitioning from ICU to med-surg, with emphasis on telemetry monitoring and cardiac interventions.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license valid in state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and physical assessments.
• Initiate patient education focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
