Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN for a travel assignment in Spokane, WA. This 13-week PCU RN travel role offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with tax-free stipends possible.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and current BLS/ACLS credentials. As a PCU travel nurse, you will monitor cardiac and other vital signs, administer medications, and respond to changes with rapid assessment and intervention.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care RN experience preferred.
• PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and note adverse reactions.
• Monitor and interpret patient monitoring equipment; record data.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring information and symptoms.
