Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 16-week travel assignment in Rapid City, SD. The role involves caring for patients transitioning from ICU to stepdown units, with 12-hour night shifts and 48 hours per week. Required qualifications include 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN/NIHSS and additional licenses may be considered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent Stepdown RN experience is required.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• BLS certification current (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification current (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Document patient status and nursing care interventions.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for telemetry patient care.
