Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a PCU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Johnstown, PA. You will provide essential bedside care for patients needing close monitoring and frequent assessment, using monitors and IV therapy as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/ NIH certifications, and is ready to work 12-hour rotating shifts with tax-free stipends where applicable.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH are required certifications and credentials.
• 1.5 years of recent acute care experience is preferred.
• RN license and current-state credentials are required to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer and document prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and interpret displays to detect changes.
• Initiate actions based on monitoring data to prevent deterioration.
