Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Phoenix, AZ. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, starting 11/02/2026. RN with 1–2 years of acute care experience is preferred.

As a PCU Travel Nurse, you will monitor patients, administer medications, start IVs, and respond to changes in condition. Certifications such as BLS and ACLS are required. TotalMed RN offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2 years of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications.
• Monitor and interpret monitoring equipment and report changes.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and initiate corrective actions.
