Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse PCU RN for a 13-week assignment in Farmington, NM. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience, BLS certification, and will involve 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

As a PCU RN, you will monitor cardiac patients, titrate IV medications, and perform bedside care in a fast-paced setting. This position is travel-based with tax-free stipends and benefits through TotalMed.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required and 1 year of experience in acute care.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience preferred for PCU travel role.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment; interpret electronic monitoring displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
