Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Travel Nurse for Santa Fe, NM. 13-week assignment. 36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts, travel role. Requires 1–2 years acute care and ACLS/BLS. PCU monitors cardiac patients and handles med administration, IVs, and patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include bedside care, monitoring equipment, medication administration, and rapid response to changes. Benefits include weekly pay and full benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
• PCU/step-down nursing knowledge
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor and adjust patient care; operate monitoring equipment.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Observe and report changes; respond to emergencies.
• Assist with IV starts and catheter placement.
