TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The assignment lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour rotating shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and ACLS/BLS certifications. The PCU role involves monitoring cardiac and other vitals, administering medications, and providing bedside care in a fast-paced, step-down environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Travel RN in PCU with 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data
