Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. This role emphasizes care for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units with telemetry monitoring and cardiac-focused interventions.

You will work 12-hour day shifts (36 hours/week) in a collaborative team, with competitive pay and benefits. Start date is 10/27/2026, with strong support from our clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in Maryland.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors cardiac rhythms and telemetry data; responds to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Aids physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety; documents status and interventions.
• Informs supervisor/physician of patient status and response to care.
• Performs patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
• Maintains patient and client confidentiality.
