Job summary

TotalMed RN in Decatur, GA is seeking a PACU - Post Anesthesia Care travel nurse for a 13‑week assignment in Decatur, Georgia. The travel RN will work 36 hours per week on 9‑hour day shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS certs. You will observe post‑operative patients, develop care plans, monitor for changes, and report to the physician as needed to ensure safe recovery.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Travel RN experience may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post‑operative patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor patients for changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are ready to move to a room after PACU stay.
