Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patients returning from the operating room and monitor post-anesthesia condition
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per PACU protocols
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records
• Collaborate with surgical team and other providers for post-operative care
• Provide discharge instructions and patient/family education
