Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Decatur, GA. The role focuses on recovery from anesthesia, postoperative care, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure safe patient discharge.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of PACU RN experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel benefits and competitive pay are included, with day-one insurance and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Receive and assess patients transferring from the operating room and evaluate post-anesthesia condition
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness level, and recovery from anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per post-anesthesia nursing technique
• Document patient conditions and treatments accurately in medical records
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure comprehensive post-operative care
• Participate in patient handoff communications to ensure continuity of care
