Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Albany, GA. The role requires post-anesthesia recovery expertise, active GA license (or compact), and availability for call rotations.

You will work in an acute care hospital setting, covering multiple surgical specialties and using MEDITECH EMR. Responsibilities include recovering patients from various anesthesia types, managing airways and drains, and participating in weekend and night-call schedules.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required (GA state or compact) and PACU/post-anesthesia recovery experience.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications current.
• BSN not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care in PACU across all age groups.
• Manage airways, drains, lines, and sedation as needed.
• Perform care for diverse surgical specialties: cardio, ortho/neuro, OB, general.
• Utilize MEDITECH EMR for patient documentation.
• Support call rotations with on-call shifts.
• On-call staff must report within 30 minutes when called.
• Weekend rotations alternate, 12-hour shifts (8:00–20:30).
