Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced PACU RN for an outpatient surgery center, with heavy focus on GYN, plastics, and prostate biopsy recovery.

Active GA or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and a minimum of 2 years in PACU or related specialty are required. Shifts are 8 hours, Mon–Fri, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, with holiday work and travel housing benefits.

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles away from the facility; traveling staff returning after a break must observe policy.

• Minimum 2 years PACU or related specialty experience
• Heavy experience with GYN, plastics and prostate biopsy recovery

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications required, no expired copies accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU or specialty experience required
• Heavy experience with GYN, plastics, and prostate biopsy recovery required

Responsibilities

• Outpatient surgery center PACU setting
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
• Heavy focus on post-anesthesia care for GYN, plastics, and prostate biopsy procedures
• No on-call requirements
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Former perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service before reapplying
• RTO must be requested upfront at time of submission and cannot be requested after an offer is made
