Job summary
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a PACU position in Billings, Montana. You will work in the hospital's PACU with 10-hour day shifts (4 days per week) and 40 hours per week, using the Epic EMR system.
Requires active MT or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate, and at least 1 year PACU experience. Travel pay includes stipends; this is a 13-week assignment with potential early start.

- Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
- 40 hours per week
- Uses Epic charting system
- May be required to float to other departments based on business need within scope of competency
- May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Active RN license (MT or compact) required
- BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start date
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for unit or service
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in PACU specialty required
- Epic EMR charting experience required
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient recovery
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with team through consultation, delegation, and supervision as needed
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
