American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric OR RN Circulator to work charge and weekend day shifts, requiring at least one year of acute OR experience and an OK or compact RN license.

The role involves functioning as a perioperative circulator in the Pediatric Operating Room, with a 12-hour day shift schedule (3 days/week) and weekend coverage. This travel-friendly assignment offers housing allowances and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute operating room environment
• Pediatric OR experience required; Level I trauma experience not required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of AORN Standards and professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team providing specialized care
• Basic computer skills required
• Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Responsabilidades

• Works in the Pediatric Operating Room unit of a hospital setting
• Functions as a Perioperative Circulator providing direct and indirect nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures
• Schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours weekly
• Weekend shifts required on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 0630-1900
• Manager is seeking a candidate able to work in a Charge capacity
• No call requirements, though overtime may be available
• Plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients whose protective reflexes or self-care abilities may be compromised during operative or invasive procedures
• Individualizes patient care according to the patient's health status, age, and procedure being performed
• Responsible for ongoing evaluation and documentation of care delivered within the perioperative environment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Returning travelers may extend a contract one time up to a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying
• Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no allowance for start date delays
