Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with charge experience and pediatric surgical background to support a variety of surgical specialties at a pediatric hospital. The role requires an active GA/Compact RN license, BLS/PALS, and Epic EMR experience.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, with 8s and 10s; office surgery experience is not accepted. Travel housing allowance and reimbursements are included, along with comprehensive benefits and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Active RN license GA/Compact.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience.
• Charge nurse experience required.
• Pediatric OR experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Office surgery experience not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room at a pediatric hospital.
• Surgical specialties include Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eyes.
• Schedule includes Monday through Friday shifts, offered as a combination of 8s and 10s (no 12-hour shifts).
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties.
• Facility is nicotine-free and requires nicotine and drug screening.
• Flu vaccination required with no declinations accepted.
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration.
