American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Operating Room for a night shift position at a Level I Trauma Center requiring 2 years of general, pediatric, and trauma OR experience.

Details

Work in the Operating Room department of a Level I Trauma Center
Works Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with every other Thursday
Experience with General OR, Pediatric General OR, and Trauma required
Epic charting system preferred

Requirements

Active TN or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
AHA BLS certification required
AHA ACLS and CNOR certifications preferred
Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
Experience working General OR, Pediatric General OR, and Trauma cases required
BSN required for international candidates

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility with no local candidates accepted
General orientation begins on Sundays and includes online computer-based learning (CBLs)
16 hours of non-billable orientation required
Contract nursing team members are expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside patient care duties
Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC fit testing guidelines
Candidates must complete a drug test within 12-14 calendar days prior to start and be willing to repeat testing if needed
RTO must be submitted with application
