Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room General Surgery position in Florida. Requires at least 2 years of OR experience and a FL or compact RN license.

The role includes supporting General Surgery, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Colorectal, Urology, and Eye procedures with robotic da Vinci surgeries, a 13-week assignment, and a 4x10-hour shift pattern ending at 17:00.

Qualifications

• Active FL or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
• ACLS certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required.
• General Surgery OR experience required.
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting supporting General Surgery, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Colorectal, Urology, and Eye procedures.
• Robotic surgery experience with da Vinci (DV5) system required.
• Four 10-hour shifts per week scheduled 06:30-17:00.
• 10-12 call shifts required per month.
• 13-week assignment.
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address.
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under facility radius rule.
• Radius rule mileage varies by facility location.
• Holiday coverage expectations may apply per facility policy.
• Candidates should discuss assignment extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date.
