Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Main OR Circulator travel assignment in Texas. Requires a TX or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of full-time OR circulating experience, with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications; CNOR preferred.

The role covers all surgical specialties except cardiac, neuro, and spine, with a 6:30 AM–3:00 PM day shift, on-call duties, and a housing allowance. Travel candidates with 50-mile radius restrictions are not eligible in this facility’s

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of full-time OR circulating experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required
• CNOR preferred
• Charge experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Main OR Circulator role handling all surgical specialties except cardiac, neuro, and spine cases
• Day shift 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no scheduled days off
• On-call responsibilities average one weeknight per week and one weekend per month (Friday-Sunday)
• May float to the Surgery Center OR during low census or as needed
• Facility-laundered scrubs provided, with call room access available if needed
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Required to work 3 of the 5 winter holidays
• RTO requests should be minimized and factored into total contract length
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with zero tolerance for positive results
