Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN Charge Perioperative OR nurse for a Days shift position in California. Requires current CA RN licensure and perioperative charge nurse experience. The role includes overseeing perioperative operations as charge nurse and weekend coverage.

The position is with a staffing agency; candidates must be W-2 employees. BLS, ACLS and CNOR certifications are preferred, with a Bachelor's degree in nursing and critical care experience also valued.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum one year of current Perioperative charge nurse or relief charge nurse experience required.
• Two or more years of Critical Care experience preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the OR department during assigned shifts.
• Work a 12-hour Day shift with a 0630 start time.
• Provide weekend coverage as needed.
• Float to Med/Surg and Critical Care RN staff as required.
• Serve as charge nurse overseeing perioperative operations during shifts.
