Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a surgery center specializing in Ortho, Plastics, General, Colorectal and GYN procedures, requiring GA or compact RN licensure. The role features 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:45am-3:15pm, with 32 guaranteed hours and no on-call.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license required.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the OR specialty required.

Responsibilities

• Surgery center setting performing Ortho, Plastics, General, Colorectal and GYN surgeries
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:45am-3:15pm
• 4 shifts per week with 32 guaranteed hours weekly
• No on-call requirements
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• RTO must be requested prior to offer acceptance and cannot be requested afterward
