Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Travel RN to join the 6 East Ortho/Trauma unit in Kansas City, Missouri. This onsite 13-week contract features night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 23-bed unit with Trach/Neuro overflow potential and a focus on ortho and trauma care.

Applicants must have RN licensure and BLS; ortho, telemetry (Tele), NIH experience preferred. Post-op knee, hip and shoulder replacements and trauma care are central duties, with unit policies guiding patient experience.

Qualifications

• RN license and BLS required.
• Ortho, Tele, NIH experience preferred.
• Experience in Med Surg/Ortho/Trauma units is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-operative knee, hip and shoulder replacements.
• Care for trauma patients in a Med Surg/Ortho/Trauma unit.
• Perform bedside shift reports and hourly rounding as per policy.
• Utilize Meditech for documentation.

Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report, hourly rounding
