Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for an travel OB/GYN assignment in Borger, Texas. The role starts 08/24/2026 and runs for 13 weeks, with a 7p–7a night shift across three 12-hour shifts.

You will care for obstetric patients and newborns from prepartum to postpartum in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, is comfortable with travel, and excels in communication and teamwork while documenting care accurately.

Qualifications

Active RN license valid to practice in Texas.
OB/L&D experience or exposure preferred.
Ability to work night shift in a hospital setting.
Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care for obstetric patients and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods.
Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer meds and document responses.
Assist with labor, delivery and immediate postpartum procedures; support newborn care.
Collaborate with obstetric team and other staff to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care and discharge planning.
Maintain patient safety and comply with infection control practices.
