Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in OB/L&D for a 13-week travel assignment in Borger, Texas. The role runs nights (7p–7a) with three 12-hour shifts and weekly pay in the range shown, in a hospital setting.

You will care for obstetric patients and newborns across antepartum to postpartum, collaborate with the obstetric team, document outcomes, and provide education on postpartum and newborn care.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Ability to provide care for OB/L&D patients from prepartum to postpartum.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; accurate and timely documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer prescribed meds and therapies, and document responses to treatment.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum procedures; support newborn care in the OB/L&D setting.
• Collaborate with obstetric team, physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, lactation support, and discharge planning.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with infection control practices and unit policies.
