Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact)
• BLS certification required
• ADN or ASN degree required; BSN preferred
• No prior nursing experience required, though previous experience is preferred
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety measures

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessments and care plans for stroke/telemetry patients.
• Coordinate admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Delegate and supervise care activities within the team.
• Participate in unit quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams on treatment plans.
