Job summary
American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week travel assignment on a 36-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit in Kentucky. The role requires a KY or Compact RN license, 2+ years of experience, and BLS/ACLS 인증.
You will work nights, float to step-down areas as needed, and follow unit protocols in a fast-paced setting. The position offers hospital-based benefits, housing support, and travel pay for eligible distances from the facility.
Qualifications
- Active RN license KY or Compact is required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- ADN or BSN degree required.
- Experience with IVs and various drains/tubes is required.
- Post-op surgical care experience for general surgery and joint replacements preferred.
Responsibilities
- 13-week travel assignment on a 36-bed Med/Surg unit in a community hospital.
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend.
- Patient ratios of 5:1 or 6:1 with frequent admissions and discharges.
- Care for adults 18+ and geriatric patients; float to step-down as needed.
- Operate Baxter IV pumps, Omnicell, drains, NG and PEG tubes; document in MedHost.
- Support Med/Surg coverage with a team-focused, self-starter approach.
